ABOUT

I spent my K-12 years in Portland Public Schools; it feels wonderful to teach for the district now. 

I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology.  My senior year of college I had the opportunity to work with elementary students, it was then that I realized I wanted to teach.  I graduated with a Master's of Art in Teaching from Concordia University in 2010.  I taught kindergarten for 4 years and now I'm on to a new adventure teaching 4th grade!

When I am not in the classroom I like to spend my time reading, camping, and surfing.  My two dogs, Enzo and Hank Williams (Baby Hank) take up much of my time as well; they are the loves of my life!
